Date April 22, is Earth day of United Nations,is fall on Birth day of Luangpor Dhammajayo
, Abbot of Dhammakaya temple, so many big merit earning event has been organized at Dhammakaya temple on this day every year since 30 years ago. The main purpose is not birthday celebrating but for supporting Earth Day by promoting peace for the world by Dhamma and meditation. For this year event which happened this morning is the event of Alms offering to 100,000 monks. It is the first time in the world to have mass alms offering to that number of the monk in Thailand.
